Payment method

1. Domestic Payments - For domestic customers

Vietmorsel supports all the most popular payment methods in Vietnam through the intermediary payment gateway OnePay - Shopify's official partner in Vietnam. Customers can choose one of the following methods on the checkout page:

- E-wallet:

MoMo is an e-wallet supported by over 31 million users in Vietnam - customers scan a QR code or confirm via the MoMo app, and transactions are completed in seconds.

ZaloPay allows quick payments through the Zalo application, suitable for customers who are already familiar with using Zalo in their daily lives.

VNPAY supports QR code payments and is linked with most major commercial banks in Vietnam.

- Domestic debit cards:

Domestic ATM cards connected via the NAPAS system are accepted on the payment page; customers enter card information directly and confirm via an OTP sent to their registered phone number.

- Cash on delivery (COD):

COD is applicable for domestic orders with a value under 2,000,000 VND. Customers pay cash directly to GHN or J&T delivery staff upon receiving the product.

Note: COD is not applicable for pre-orders, custom Gift Boxes, and B2B orders.

- Bank Transfer:

Customers transfer money using the Vietmorsel account information displayed on the payment page. The transfer description must be exactly: [Order Code] + [Full Name] for accurate system reconciliation.

The order will be confirmed within 2 business hours after Vietmorsel receives the payment.

2. International Payment - For Overseas Vietnamese and Foreigners

For international customers, Vietmorsel requires 100% upfront payment, including international shipping fees, at the time of order placement. Two payment methods are supported:

- PayPal Express Checkout:

Customers with a PayPal account can complete payments in just 2 steps - no need to re-enter card information, no need to create a new account on the website.

Transactions are processed in USD or EUR and automatically converted to VND in Vietmorsel's reporting system.

Transaction fee: 3.49% + 0.49 USD fixed per order.

- International credit card via Stripe:

Vietmorsel accepts Visa, Mastercard, and American Express cards through the Stripe payment gateway.

The card input interface is embedded directly on the vietmorsel.ink payment page, so customers do not need to be redirected to another page.

Transaction fees: 2.9% + $0.30 fixed per order.

3. Recurring Payments - For Subscription Box Customers

Customers who subscribe to a recurring box plan will have their payments processed automatically monthly through the Subscription system integrated with Shopify.

- Available packages:

  • Basic Box Package: 250,000đ
  • Premium Box: 450,000đ
  • Family Box: 650,000đ

The system stores card information as encrypted tokens according to PCI-DSS standards - Vietmorsel does not directly access the customer's card number or CVV.

At each renewal period, the system automatically debits the payment and sends an email notification 3 days in advance. Customers can log into the self-service portal at vietmorsel.ink to change payment methods, pause, skip a month, or change their plan.

In case a card is declined due to expiration or insufficient balance, the system automatically sends an email notification and retries up to 3 times before canceling the subscription.
