Dai Tam purple star apple is an endemic fruit variety found only in Dai Tam commune, My Xuyen district, Soc Trang province. Many farmers have tried growing this variety elsewhere but have not been able to achieve the same quality. The unique soil and water sources of this region are irreplicable factors that contribute to the star apple's distinctive purple skin, glossy appearance, and thick, creamy white flesh inside.

Biting into a ripe Dai Tam star apple immediately reveals a refreshing sweetness, soft, creamy flesh, and a distinctive, subtle aroma, completely different from star apples grown elsewhere. This fruit is only available one season a year and is always sold out when in season.

Wash under running water before use, gently pat dry. Gently press the stem end with your hand - if it feels soft, it's ripe and ready to eat. For best taste, chill for 30 minutes before serving. Cut in half or eat whole by gently squeezing to release the fruit pulp. Do not wait until the fruit is overripe to eat as it will lose its distinctive delicate sweetness.

Fresh star apples, tree-ripened, no preservatives used. After receiving, store in the refrigerator and consume within 5-7 days. Do not wash the fruit before storing as moisture will cause it to spoil quickly. Do not leave at room temperature for more than 2 days after receiving. This is a seasonal fruit - only available from November to February, so order early while supplies last.
